Does the groom give monetary gifts to the groomsmen?
Is the groom supposed to give monetary gifts to the groomsmen and men of honor, and the bride give monetary gifts to the bridesmaids, flower girls and ring bearer? And to the soloist and pianist who are friends of mine? Do they have to be monetary?
Most gifts to your bridal party are not monetary, but they can be. I’d prefer a gift myself instead of something monetary, I’d think a monetary gift would be like paying me to be in your wedding. Though each person is different.
I am getting my bridesmaid each a gift card to a place to eat to take their significant other so that can be considered monetary but also I’m getting them gifts as well.
For my child attendants we’re making little gift bags for them with things to keep them busy and little trinkets. We are getting the girls all some jewelry and haven’t yet decided on the boys.
As far as the soloist and pianist are they doing this for free for you or do they expect to be paid? If they expect to be paid you may want to do something monetary otherwise a small gift will work.
